WOTG is a Traditional Craft fellowship. WOTG stands in existences to fulfill two main goals within our homeland. The first is to teach to those who desire it our Traditions. The second goal is to celebrate the Sabbats and provide a safe place for those of like mind to join with us in those celebrations. "Americanized Traditional Witchcraft" is a combination of where the "OLD WAYS" met the "NEW AGE". We teach how together these great forces can work in harmony with each other. We have Faery, Native American, Druid, Irish Celtic, Scottish/Welsh, Norse, Eclectic and Kitchen Witches in our group. My goal, from the beginning and still is, to expose people to as many different types of "Craft" as possible and allow each individual to decide which of those they work best with, and/or create their own path. I provide the seeker with the tools needed to explore all options available to him or her. I attempt to give each seeker the skills and information to be an ethical and principled Priest or Priestess, and to serve their communities as a healer/Witch as well as clergy. We have adopted the wonderful foundation laid by the European Pagans of times past, and are now experimenting , trying new and different ways of practicing to add to that modality. Sylvan Circle is a coven of traditionally trained witches based out of Columbia, Maryland. Simply put, what we offer at Sylvan Circle is an egalitarian and empowering environment to worship, with traditional teachings and the opportunity to learn and grow through a degreed traditional system.
